My sister just shared this video clip via e-mail. Oh, it’s a good one! Even if you don’t play the piano, you’ll like watching Little Richard (“Tutti Frutti, oh, Rudy….”) as a little kid.

UPDATE: Cousin Leane sent this link in response to my post. This isn’t the first time one of my links turned out to be bogus. This video is not bogus, but turns out it isn’t really Little Richard after all. Thanks for keeping me honest, Leane.

My friend Kathy, from Michigan, and I just played our 100th game of Scrabble on Facebook.

At two different garage sales on the same Saturday, I bought a ThighMaster and a ButtMaster. One opposes in, the other opposes out. While I’m past thinking I need creative curvature, at least the latter seems to help my sciatica issues. Worth every bit of the $1 I paid for it!

We enjoyed listening to son John tonight sing/play some tunes at Coffee Cottage. He and Erin also have their photos displayed. You see Oscar behind John in this picture.

And they displayed the Anderson family on a different wall. Of course they put up many wonderful photos, but somehow I feel especially drawn to these two in particular.

Have I mentioned that I read Shakespeare’s King Lear last month? Why, you ask? Believe me, it wasn’t on my reading list. But I’m in a reading group, and if I’m nothing else I’m at least a team player. God didn’t create me with Shakespeare-oriented brain, so I went online and printed out the Sparknotes to get the gist of the tragedy. Then I read the play—every last word of it! I hope you’re impressed.

I have another book that needs my attention, and I should be reading it instead of making these:
