Uncle Francis called Mauri yesterday to find out Rachel’s address and phone number because soon he would be heading to Pennsylvania on tour with the Salem Singers.
Uncle Francis is ninety-seven years old. He’s the only living original member of the Salem Singers, going back to 1948! This picture came from my 2003 file, while Aunt Madell was still with us. Madell was a Williams, Dad Kenneth’s sister.
I still have the pencil I was given at Uncle Francis’s 90th birthday party. I wonder what his children will choose as party favors for his 100th celebration. That is if he isn’t on a cross-country tour.
