wrap up

After Mother died in 1988, Johnny bought her Steinway piano from our dad. So it was especially fun for Mauri and me to visit it, as we have much history related to those ivories. Back in our high school days we shared the bench many an hour, working out arrangements and just enjoying singing together. A visit wouldn’t have been complete without a little reminiscing around the piano. Dad was known to introduce his son, John, as the best tenor soloist in Florida, which only means we raised the roof an inch or two.

We’re feeling a little shaggy around the edges today, having caught a 6 a.m. flight in the Eastern time zone. But we’re thankful for uneventful travel.
Back in Newberg, we hit the ground running.
This clearly illustrates our dependence on Internet connectivity!
And this is what happens when you turn your back for a week.
