church retreat

Church retreat is anything but a retreat for Mauri and me (not complaining), so on our way to the coast we took a food retreat (emphasis on treat) at a favorite restaurant. On a whim we ordered calamari, which is a little like avocado to my tasters (no taste at all, so why eat it?) However, it does have an interesting shape.
Please tell me this isn’t squid.
And then there was the retreat, by all accounts a good one.
I have some highlights, most recorded in my memory, but here are a few I caught with my camera: Mauri and Warren jammin’.

And while the “cats” were away, Mr. Darcy got to go snow shoeing with John and Erin. I’m sure she’ll have lots of stories to tell us when she gets home in a few minutes.
