two places at once

Today’s the final day of meetings for Evangelical Friends Church North America, an annual event I attend to represent the Board of Communication of our regional Northwest Yearly Meeting. Usually I have to fly somewhere, but this year NWYM is hosting the sessions at nearby Canby Grove. Being at these meetings prevented me from attending First Friday Art Walk in Newberg. All in all, that’s not such a tragedy, since First Friday happens the first Friday of every month. (Let me guess, you already figured that out.)
But not every First Friday brings the happy confluence of Young Friends Singers and an Erin Macy book signing to Chapters Books! Gregg Koskela (his daughter’s a Singer) not only attended this event, he posted some delightful pictures on Facebook that allowed me to be in two places at once.
My meeting’s being called to order; I s’pose I need to pay attention.
