Yesterday during worship my head was bowed in reflection, but my eyes were open to what rested on my lap. What?
Octobber?
I hurried home to confirm my suspicion. Yep, every worship sheet this month…
Sigh.
My brain reads what I expect, not what my eyes actually see. I wonder how many people do the same and therefore never noticed.
BTW, that’s what I think separates good proof readers from the rest of us.

I usually start reading at “Prelude” – don’t ever bother to read the top part.
