run for the babies

Yesterday three of our Denver Andersons participated in the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon. They and twelve others wore shirts that look like this:
and gathered pledges that go directly to purchase diapers and formula for the babies of Juarez, Mexico.
Twelve-year-old Bailey ran the whole thing!
Way to go, B! We’re proud of you!
Quinn’s friend Jamie flew to Denver from Michigan with her young son, Michael, to walk*/run the marathon with her. (*bum-knee necessity)
Finish-line kudos!
Good news! It’s not too late to make a post-marathon pledge to any one or all of these runners, including Jamie (far right).
(Shameless, I know…we do what we can.)
