The last time Mauri went shooting birds (with his camera) he quickly downloaded this shot into his computer …
…to try to identify that bird camouflaged in the grass to the right of the post.
I’m glad he didn’t wait around to see it in flight!
Here’s a real bird, shot through the window to our backyard.

How ironic! A metal bird!
I expect Mauri had plenty of time to steal a picture of it. Here’s what I don’t get though — It appears to have bolted multiple times, yet it remains undisturbed in its nest.
