I don’t get out much, that’s no secret. So a drive to the next “big” town over opens wide my world. Today, on my way to McMinnville for acupuncture treatment #3 (it’s working!), I had to pull over to the side of the road to take a picture of this:

It might be the most unusual cloud formation I’ve ever seen.
Okay, that was silly. But I think there’s a story here. Any ideas?
I need to point out that it’s January—in Oregon. Somehow, people who don’t live here have the impression we have nonstop rain. That sky is blue. Blue. On my way home I had a perfectly clear view of Mt. Hood, which is way way over there on the other side of Portland.
I thought it was a contrail of some sort. I saw that too
Very weird.
