nothin’ worth talking about

I don’t spend much time thinking or talking about the weather. I figure it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be, so if it’s cold I put on a coat and if it’s warm I don’t and if it’s raining I walk a little faster and if the sun is shining I close my office blinds so I can see my computer monitor. I care a little bit if I’m planning a garage sale or a picnic. Otherwise, weather doesn’t interest me very much unless I’m desperate for small talk with a stranger in an elevator.

I could never wear heels that high. Otherwise, I think they’re pretty cute.
Today we had a brief hail shower. The sound caught my attention. We’ve had hail storms around here that were much better than today’s, but I took a picture because my camera was close by…

…since today was our family dinner and I went to get it so I could snap this:

to show you what naturally happened when our five-year-old grand nephew spotted those blocks we talked about a few days ago. Now aren’t you proud of that good advice you gave me?
