thankful

One of our table questions today was: What five things would you not want to live without? “The Internet,” “my feet,” “a car,” “my computer” were some of the answers we gave. But the one that brought a unison uh,huh was “relationships.” There’s nothing quite like the bond of family relationships, and we thank God today (…every day) for the blessing of kin.

We got to spend last evening and all day today in the company of Pete, Linsey, Erin, John, and MomEdna. Pete and Linsey hosted us in their new home in Yamhill (13 miles from Newberg). Erin and Lins took the lead as chefs and did a great job with their first turkey dinner. They chose some labor-intensive recipes, yet remained calm through all the preparation.

Meanwhile, the rest of us found other things to do…

It has been a fully thankful day. John made a video of the day for Rachel and John in Philly. If you want to see it, click here.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Thank you for this peek into your family time!

  2. Oh, you Macbook people. :)

Tell the ladies that their presentation was beautiful: the Food Network would certainly approve.

  3. Hey, I had my MBP out at Thanksgiving, too. Mostly for sharing pictures and funny videos. How’d we ever have family time without YouTube and its cousins?
