serendipity extraordinaire

I’m still beaming from my Denver layover today. Last night I sent Quinn an e-note just to say I’d be in Denver from 2:12 to 3:40 on my way to Wichita for some church-related meetings. She wrote back: Feel like going thru the pain of security at DIA for a few minutes with your daughter and granddaughter? Who could pass up an offer like that? But the flight out of Portland left more than a half hour late (the plane hit a coyote on the landing and they had to clean up the mess). But they came anyway, and I feasted on lots of wonderful hugs and the short conversations we could fit in.

I made it to my next flight by the hair of my chinny chin chin. Life is good.
