links – part two
Posted by Sherry on May 1, 2007
I think I’m going to have more fun posting links than you are following them. Already I have more than five, but I will stick to my per-post limit so you’ll be primed for more. I wouldn’t want to bore you!
It might be a bad idea to start out with something you have to read, but we’ve been thinking a lot lately about singing — a topic that’s always been near to my heart — and this writer quotes a couple of writers I like (or have liked).
Okay, I’m not sure you’ll actually believe this. But I’m thinking of stocking up. You never know when you might need some.
Let’s see…I think by age thirteen I had learned to draw a tree.
It was hard to pick what page to link you to on this site. You’ll see our neighbor Bren, who hosts this intriguing look at various people in Newberg (our little town) and the Willamette Valley. Bren is the same neighbor I wrote about here.
I hope you’ve stayed with me because I saved the best for last. I’ve been utterly fascinated with Discovery Channel’s “Planet Earth” series, and it’s only about the parts of God’s creation that we can actually see. These pictures (a seemingly endless supply) give us an idea of what we can’t see. What you see here is the first-place winner for each year. Click on that picture and you’ll see many, many more.
I’m loving these links! And I agree, you can’t maintain a bad attitude after belting out a hearty rendition of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”! And if you’re gonna buy that dehydrated water….I’ve got some property in AZ for you to pick up for a great price!
And….the Creator’s Hand (aka Planet Earth)….WOW, art everywhere you look!
Thanks for taking the time to assemble all this to share!
