I’m watching my back these days. If I become too demanding in this recovery mode, Mauri might load me in the back of the van and drop me in the Willamette River just down the road. With this concrete cast on my leg, I’d sink straight to the bottom and entertain the fish with my eternal graceful pirouette. I always wanted to be a dancer.
But I’m scheduled to get a new, more manageable and hopefully more attractive cast on Friday morning. Maybe I can behave that long.
Okay be truthful ….. which is more painful? A. Giving birth to a daughter 35 years ago today or B. Breaking a leg in two places last week. Did you stay in bed and watch all the demonstrations around the U.S. on T.V. all day? Take care, Carol
Hang in there! I have sure been thinking about you! I must admit I don’t know what I would do if I were to break my ankle. Try to enjoy this time of forced rest, you’ll be busy again soon. =)
