The best things happen in the morning
When the sun comes up and life seems new
Again, it’s hit me without warning
Offering quiet, good things to do
Or wish I’d done, because by now
It’s afternoon, and moving on
Toward supper, and I’ll wonder how
I missed it, starting with the dawn
This day has passed me without warning
And the best things happened in the morning
Well, I certainly enjoyed spending my morning making music with you. Hope your evening is peaceful and productive. Don’t try to get too much done; you’ll do enough tomorrow morning to make up for it:)
